Gallows pole, watercolour.
My process. Clicking embiggens the smallest comic.
Ran out of ideas. Self-loathing remains.
Winter landscape, watercolour.

Landscape, watercolour. Ripping off Edward Wesson this time.
Wesson’s painting had this beautiful wet in wet rain shower over the distant hills. I think the idea is to paint the hills then use clear water to make it flow upwards, but I can never get it to work.
Landscape, watercolour, after an exercise in a Jack Reid book.
I’m painting a little 7.5x5.5 inch watercolour every day. Sometimes they work out, sometimes they don’t, sometimes I’m not really sure.
